June brides - In here!

Hello!!

i'm excited as well although a bit overwhelmed with all that I have left to do.

Had one hair trial but I am having another one as i've changed my mind! Have dress fitting in a couple of weeks and hoping it won't need taking in although I've lost a lot of weight (not through trying!) so I hope they can make it look good

I also have lots of lists - don't know what I'd do without them!

Hen do next weekend - I can't wait ?

I hope I like my hair trial, I'm having extensions and quite a complicated 'do' (well it looks complicated to me) so it's something I could never do myself! Just hope it suits me!

Is this sunny weather going to last til June?

Hi Ladies, I've been doing lots of bits and bobs the last few weeks, I'm getting really excited now and I'm now having those weird wedding dreams!! Just a few things left to do like getting H2B's suit, writing the place names which is a small job as there are only 24 of us for the meal, have ordered the gift bags and been getting the pressies to go in them. It's just little things left to do really. We had our pay and discuss appt with the Registrar last week where we ran through the whole ceremony and chose the words we are having, that definately made it all very real.

We're the 4th June and we're almost there. We have to finish our stationary and wrap our presents and finish paying the suppliers but I think that is it. We have seen the registrar, my dress is at my parents house and the bridesmaid dresses will be ready in the next couple of weeks. We have all our presents, they just need wrapping. I am actually surprised at how much we have done!

Another June bug here ?

22nd June for us. We are pretty much done apart from paying for the final bits. No hair trials as my hair is short, and I am SUPER possesive about doing my own make up. LOL. I never though I could be this organised. I am actually wishin I still had stuff to do...

I'm 25th June and we're pretty much sorted. Got my first dress fitting in a couple of weeks and my hair trial at the end of May. Had my hen weekend and my make up trial and both were fab! Just got to pay off the venue and do our table plan. Very excited at the moment as its 8 weeks this Saturday..woop woop!!

Slinkysarah - I thought we were date twins as your ticker reads the same countdown as mine but I read you are 11th June whereas I'm the 10th June

I have found it very stressful too! People keep saying to me, are you looking forward to it? I bet your excited, but the truth is I havent had time to get excited!! Sometimes it feels like its soon, other times I think, still 7 weeks! Mad!

Have you got everything sorted and organised? Im getting married abroad so a lot of my planning will be finalised when we get there

I'm 11 June! Had my first fitting last night, made it feel v real but exciting too. Am nervous as well though. Have quite a lot to do still - presents for all, final decisions on flowers, iPod playlist, table names / OOS / menus / place names, then second fitting and various beauty / hair appointments - and more and more little bits, signs for the entrance to the venue that kind of thing! Hen weekend next weekend....!!x

We are the 12th june and i have got just littel bits to do now iam redoing my table plan atm and going at 1pm to have my dress pined and took in at the top. ( i have it in the bed room and keep geting it out when oh isnt in lol) we meet up with the wedding planer at the venue on the 19th to but the last bits together. and pick up the suts on the 1st june. There is loads of outher little bits as well but i cant think off the top of my head.

It still seems so far away but then i see its just over 6 weeks and i get all butterflys

Hey - Ive done everything - apart from my table plan and my placecards - but I know what tables people are sitting on and typed up the names for the cards just need to finish that and im done!! 18th June too. So I have quite a while but done everything! Lol I have to sort the balloons out though but thats not too bad! Lol x

We ordered our wedding rings today which was the last of the really important jobs to do.

Still have a pretty long 'to do/to pay' list to get started on though!

Had my hen weekend which was amazing and I had so much fun and H2B has his stag next weekend...eeek!

My hen weekend is next week!!! cant wait!! I will see what the bridesmaid dresses look like next sat cant wait there being made!! Were in the process of writing a playlist for the Dj!

I am doing my own make up,ive had 1 hair trial that i love but as its my mums friend i will be going there before to double check i like it lol!

Have to have a meeting with our chosen registar will make appt this week! I have got all the men nice pearl & silver cufflinks to wear & will be buying small bottles of whiskey to go with them for the day!

my bridesmaids have pearl necklaces,pearl bracelet & pearl earrings as there pressies.

I am just stuck what to get the mothers!!! might have to do a seperate thread on that! i was thinking flowers but want something more lasting..

I just need to save some more £££££££ to pay everyone lol!then were done!!

today we are downloading our ceremony music that we have finally choosen!

im finding it so hard as we have 3 children all under 5 (and a 9 year yr old) everytime i go to do something i am disturbed lol!

OOOOH IM SO EXCITED!!! WHAT WITH WATCHING THE ROYAL WEDDING YESTERDAY!!!!

We've got the mothers a photoframe that says, our daughters/sons wedding. I has 3 bits to it if that makes sense (is hinged together.) and theres the big photo for you and OH's wedding photo, one for the best man, motb motg and the families (I think) thought it was cute and they were about £15 each on ebay x

Im also 11th June!!!

I have my hair trial next week and make up trial the following week. Still have OOS to make and making tablet and cocconut ice for evening favours but that will need to wait until the week of the wedding. Received our wedding rings this morning but mine isnt what we ordered but once thats sorted I think we are organised, just paying people now which isnt quite so fun as the planning. I wasnt stressed at all until this morning. After watching the royal wedding yesterday even more excited. Fingers crossed the sun will shine throughout June!

Not long now!!!!!! How is everyone feeling?

Im getting nervous!

I am! I had a 'aren't you nervous yet?' conversation with a friend and at the start I was like No not really and by the end I was terrified!

I don't like being the center of attention at all but I think its the one day that I will get over it!

The jewelers called this morning to say our rings have arrived, so excited but H2B is on his stag weekend so I couldn't really get them without him Mainly because i'm convinced we've somehow both ordered the wrong sizes but he's saying we 100% haven't so wan't to get them together just in case!

I sat and found lots of songs for our ceremony last night so I'm now just hoping H2B likes them too. Also found a reading I like.

The best man picked up my 'Mr and Mrs letters' from Bournemouth for me and brought them with him (were in Surrey) when he came for the stag but they got broken in half in his bag!!

Also got a email saying my veil is on its way so will have that in the next few days, just hope its ok as its from China so a bit of a gamble but was a bargain so not the end of the world if not!

That's all for now I think....just trying to keep busy with wedding stuff while H2B away on his Stag, glad they only get to do this once as I'm really hating it and didn't think I would! x

I get the pangs of nerves, had heart palpatations the other day I was panicking about it so much as mum was talking about all the last detail things we have to do - like telling the bm, moh, ushers etc what they have to do. Totally freaked me out! 41 days until my wedding day! OMG! scary scary scary! Ive done everything - now just have to do the final paying of things off! and then i am done! ready for the day...except my hairdresser has let me down, so someone else is coming in to do it! :/ x

Yeah I feel the same way lol. I cant believe it'll be here so blooming soon! Tis getting a bit scary now lol. Picked up the Banns certificate this morning so have to take that to the vicar soon other than that I am literally ALL done! lol I have NOTHING to do anymore lol. Its odd! I love being organised but now I have nothing left to do becuase of this organisedness lol. What else does everyone else have left to do?! x

We're getting married on 18th June at Hanbury Manor in Ware. Having a very traditional wedding; frou frou dress, champagne reception and motown band for the evening. So excited!!! xxx

18th June so totally rocks! lol. Were having a traditional church wedding and then the rest of it is a bit different but its how we want it so sod everyone else lol. What else have you got to do?! x

We have nothing left to do really, people keep saying that they were still organising right up to the last minute but we have been pretty much planning this since we got engaged 18 months ago so no stress here

Yeah people keep saying they can't believe that I am so organised and that I have nothing else to do apart from pay for the last few bits like my beauty treatments and the rest of the honeymoon. I have the tog money in my savings account just have to pay him lol.

Hey everyone hows it all going? We are pretty much counting down the days now, Ooooo so exciting.

I read in a newspaper at the weekend that apparently June is going to be very hot with some temperatures up to 31!!! Whilst I hope we have a sunny day I really hope it doesnt get that hot or we are all gonna melt!!!
