Our suits are being delivered today so I'm nervous about them all fitting and getting everyone's measurements right. My dad's put weight on with the steriods he's on so I'm worried he wont fit in his suit too ☹️

Got a few bits to do this weekend and then collect my dress on Wednesday and take it for steaming and collect the BM dresses the same day. Just need to start packing my bags for the venue and honeymoon!

Iv just been to to see the big room and it is lovely it isnt as nice as the 1 we was going to us as there are no windows but we are still getting marred in the 1st room also got to see the room done up for a wedding and iv got to say iam glad we have moved to the big room as it looks a bit small to have any tables in there.

Once I have finished off my table plan which literally means sticking it to some mount board I will have nothing left to do - other than to take it to mine from mums. I still cant believe it's like 2 weeks until I get married! Its scary stuff!!

Oh god! Lol i have LOADS left too do!!!

Got to pick up my dress and my sisters dress tommorow, Check all the flower girls/page boy outfits fit and are ok, Get my nails, tan, waxing done, Jon is sorting his suit tonight, we then have to decorate church and venue the day before! Feels like ill never be ready lol...

What does everyone else have to do...??

I only have my eyelash tint, massage, eyebrow wax and nails to be done next sat and then the day before the wedding. I dont have to decorate any of it thank god!! I have to take everythin to the venues though so that they can do it for me, and finish off my table plan and then I am all done, Apart from putting all the CD's in to the cases all 100 of them! lol x

I have to get my dress sorted iam taking the 5 flowers off the side and adding 1 big flower.

sort my BM dresses out

finish kids packs

get all the suits FIL2B is not even in yet and oh and my dads jacket are to small and my es pants are to short. they will be in on Tue or they better hid not happy with yougs at all about it.

do my flower girl wand

finish my place name / boxs off

get my nails do and take every thing to the hotel

next sat go put the chair covers and sashes on

and i think that is it.

I'm not freaking yet, but I'm sure at 5 weeks to go I definitely will!!

Not too much left to do, or so I thought until I started to write it down!

Put favours together and take all of my table bits, table plan, place cards etc to the venue and have final run through (2 days before wedding)

Buy shoes for my flowergirl and nephew (Next weekend)

Pick up suits and dress (Week before wedding)

Pick up flowers (Wedding morning)

Have eyebrow wax and tint and get my nails done (Week and day before)

So from the above I have a lovely quiet weekend this weekend before it starts to get a bit busier picking things up and buying the final bits and pieces. Feeling uber calm at the moment which I am quite surprised about. This isnt helped by people at work being on as much of a countdown as us! (We met at work and so its the first wedding of two employees ? )

I have a bit of a moral dilemma and wondered what you girls thought. We're planning to have a church wedding but the trouble is I don't really believe in it any more. Do you think I'm being hypocritical?

You are planning to have a church wedding but in a previous post you are getting married in 5 weeks???.... you really ought to get your stories straight...

One week for us too! Nearly there now. Halfway through packing for honeymoon - need to buy suncream and currency this week. Most stuff for the day is all boxed up now but I'm putting together a 'things to take' list that I need to finish as we're going up to stay in the village we get married in from Fri morning and then straight from there to Heathrow on Sunday (we fly Monday morning). Then just want to call all suppliers this week to double check everything is 100% (hopefully all my emails mean that it is!) and that's pretty much it for us. Had a lovely day today doing a final make up run through with my bridesmaid this morning then buying pretty clothes for honeymoon! So exciting, just hope the weather holds til next weekend now... Well done everyone, you all sound super organised x

Well, I wont be around much on here now, I have a busy week next week and gotta pack my overnight case for the hotel and also pack for honeymoon. I am so excited I have constant butterflies

God im now in a crap mood!! Just been to church and the vicar was going on and on and on took 2 hours!! He is a lovely man but he does go on...alot! Im just glad the wedding service is a set script if u will and not something he has in his head! Lol we would be stood there for yonks!

She wants me to change the top table around...NOT HAPPENING! and is moaning about her name even though she said she didnt want her married name used...GRR! Pissed off is not the term! lol.

Oh for goodness' sake! It's a pet hate of mine, when people insist on one thing/promise something and then change their minds!!!

My MIL2B showed me her hat yesterday when we went round, it's purple and it exactly matches the shade of purple my mum has for her bag and shoes. I'm really happy as a) they're both happy and b) they will complement each other really well.

My mum is in pink and purple (pink dress, pink hat, purple cardi, purple bag, purple shoes) and my MIL2B has a dress in dark green and purple, purple hat, black shoes and I'm not sure about her bag. But it sounds like they'll go with each other and not clash. SOOOO happy especially considering my MIL2B nearly bought a plain white dress.

Yeah it does my head in. She just likes to cause trouble. She bribed her daughter to come to the wedding even though she told us she was NOT coming to the wedding in no uncertain terms, so I have that issue becuase of her, she backed out of the helium for the balloons beucase I think she thought it was going to cost about £30 for 115 balloons where in actual fact I was lucky I managed to get it down to £70 inc delivery, and then she does that. GRR! I dont need that stress! lol

Well wedding stuff is on hold for us far 2-3 days my son gose in hospital tomore for grommits so iam so sresed about that i cant think of wedding things iam just hoping my mum and dad have done the things they need to do as we have to take every thing to the hotel on weds.

I need to ring up today and book in for my nails done never had them done befor so dont know if they will give me a book to look at to see if i want any nail art or if i need to go with an idear for what i want.

I have no idea about nails as I havent had mine done either, but I would assume you just decide on the day? x

I hope your little boy is okay - and everything is done I took the menu choices to the venue today - hopefully they will get them as the owners arent there til Thursday so had to give it to someone else lol x
