Hi All
Well it was a week ago today that we got married, how time flies.
I had stayed at my house the night before and was up at 08.30am after receiving my 1st text from a friend at 08.00hrs .i then managed to drink a cup of tea and then text my husband to be to wish him a very Happy Birthday .I then showered and put my rather heavy suit case into my car (how much does a girl need to take on her wedding day).i left the house at 09.30am to get to the venue i was a sunny start to the day but as i left Stourbridge and headed towards Hagley the heavens opened up , it rained for approx 10mins and then as i got nearer and nearer to The Granary the sun began to shine. The weather through out the day was a mixture of sunny intervals and light showers, my union jack wellies came in handy for the main pictures which were taken at Harvington Hall
I arrived at 09.55am and my sister who was one of the Bm's was already waiting. We checked in and then it was none stop from there after. The togs were already there then came my mua and hairdresser followed by the other BM .
It was like a mad house with 7 people in the bridal room .My elderly parents arrived and it was the 1st time my father had seen me in my dress. We opened the bottle of champers and toasted the family (love tog pic of this)
We assembled outside of the ceremony room and apparently my friends said i was fashionably late , we heard At Last by Etta James play and my x2 BM's went 1st followed by me , i couldn't see anyone except Andy as i walked down the aisle holding my father's hand.Andy said to me later that he almost cried when he
saw me for the 1st time as i never wear dresses and this is the 1st time he has ever seen me in one !!!
I couldn't remember some of the words i had to repeat back to the registra and to Andy (think i was alittle anxious here). Our 2nd song was Taja Sevelle Love is Contagious and this is were i began to relax , much laughter was heard from family and friends when i was given the marriage certificate. Did n't hear much of our last song and Andy's favourite female artist of all time Kate Bush Running up that Hill as this was playing when we walked out of the room
