just a rant..

Sorry, at the moment wanting to scream out loud and have no one to rant to, currently doing my MLB Law at uni, which is a llb, masters and legal practice course.

Had my advocacy assesment... and I well and truely messed up. Was meant to be assessed by a female a 'madam' and instead got a male 'sir.'

I struggle with this type of thing anyway, nervous wreck and had learnt it in my head as madam, kept saying madam, quickly saying sir and then loosing what i was meant to be saying.

Can't believe how bad it went, and now I have to find the 'can be bothered' attitude to revise for my llb exams.

Sorry for the rant, just feel so mad at myself for messing it up and needed to get it out of my system.

Don't worry about it. I completely fluffed up my advocacy exam and ended up crying afterwards in front of the examiner! I still got a commendation and have been practising for almost 6 years now. Unsurprisingly, I don't do advocacy!

Thank you for that, I'm fine until I go in, then just fall apart, my friend's just rung who had her's after mine, and they've changed it to that you could say Madam if you had a male.. At least I was the example for them.

Will they mind all that much? I am a 'Miss' but get 'Sir' quite regularly from kids at school by mistake. It doesn't really bother me, although now I type this it does make me think I should look into a bit further...

I think if I said it corrected myself and got on with it fine it wouldn't, If i could of just said Madam all the way through I would of just recited it back fine, but because I was nervous and he sad we had to say Sir, it threw me and lost what I was saying, repeated myself.. worst ten minutes I've ever gone through.

    xx
