thank you bethan! im surprised mr hillier went for it as he didnt want anything 'too girly' but he loved it. we will be able to sample the delights of this cake in a few weeks as cake lady is going to do a mini version of it which i cannot wait for!! x

not at all we have been quoted £180 ? which is fantastic, i would of thought something on that scale would be about £300. she is a fab lady who does this as a hobby!!!

Tink i love the white cake with the ivory ribbon is lovely. we were going to have green ribbon but i dont think it will have the same impact as it would being all white.

i was speechless too!! i asked her TWICE how much and she said '£180 dear and not a penny more' such a sweet lady. we are in scotland, dundee x

That cake was the inspiration for my cake design too..... 5 tiers was a bit OTT for us but the sparkle will be just the same fabby choice!

i wasnt keen on the 5 tiers either TBH but for that price i bit the womans hand off! we are going to use it as part of our evening buffet. are you having some midnight blue ribbon teehee? x

We're going for a 4 tier but 2 of those are dummy tiers as I wanted it to look like a proper wedding cake iyswim! I can't wait to tast it again, we've gone for chocolate ganache and a lemon sponge too.... lush.
