Hi everyone

Have just joined this week so thought I would introduce myself ... I am an older, second time around bride (will be 47 when I walk down the ailse in September) but am starting to get caught up in all the excitement of planning the wedding and feel about 20 at the moment! I've been reading the posts and everyone seems really friendly and supportive on here. I'm sure I will be posting more when I get the time (and the stress levels start to rise!)

    Hi!!

    I am also a second-time around bride, I will be 38 next week and also when I walk down the aisle in December this year, and also getting really giddy with planning, as with my first wedding, when I was 22, my ex MIL did absolutely everything without consulting me, I even received an invite from her to my own wedding just because she planned and organised everything (I was new to England and she assumed I won't know a thing about organising a wedding in UK, which was sort of half-true, but I was expecting SOME consultation LOL) so now I am finally feeling like a proper bride!

    I think I'm very organised - church and reception booked, entertainment booked, dress and shoes bought, invitations printed, weddng rings ordered.... I too am absolutely loving all the planning. First time around I was very young (and naive) and didn't really have a lot of say but this time I'm organising everything! My OH dragged me to the jewellers to have a look at wedding rings he'd seen and said he was going to have a say in the rings we got if nothing else! Luckily they are gorgeous so went along with him on that!

    Really looking forward to seeing how you all get on and learning how to use the site a bit better!
