just read the pigging email

Gah!

i was asked to email a pdf of a draft report to a colleague. i told him that the drawings for the draft report are separate pdfs as it's still a draft, and that it's easier to do it this way, and that the drawings would be included as separate pdfs in the email.

i wrote the same in the email.

he's just asked me for the second time where the drawings are. he said he can't find them in the report. he can't find any of the drawings in the report. where are they. where are they!

oh, i don't know. perhaps the drawings are in the pigging email as well. like i said. and like i told you before.

is it home time yet?

I hate it when people don't read things properly.

H is the king of just replying "read the email"

I know someone who is the champion of this. They will read half (or even a quarter) of an email, then fire off a response raging at you....then email you back 5 minutes later with an apology as they have read the rest of the email and realised you have already dealt with/answered whatever it is they are raging about.

This happened to me the other day. I sent an extremely passive-aggressive email explaining where the documents were (attached).

I didn't feel bad. Smiley smile
