No problem. We got ours replaced about this time last year. We went through Magnet.

The pics show the whole thing from delivery of everything through every stage of fitting and decoration. Took a week from start to finish for fitting.

This is my Mum's kitchen (you wouldn't want mine so there's no point in showing it ?) taken from the raised dining area done to take advantage of the views of pendle hill from the rear window. I think it's a fantastic kitchen, I'm very jealous of it and love cooking in it when I visit.

MrB is a kitchen fitter. Heres some of his work for inspiration:

This is ours, the last pictures are of 2 years ago. The walls have been plastered and painted since then, and hardwood flooring down now and sockets changed.

The first pictures are of the day we moved in.

Units from Wickes and we fitted it ourselves. Really pleased with it!

Alison - what is the colour of the walls in your kitchen. Ours are just plain white now but thinking of changing. It's a lovely colour.

This is part of our - recently completed - kitchen but I guess it gives the general idea. I'm not sure why it's the only photo of it I have on my laptop though.

Our Kitchen went from this to this...

Not the bestest pics but all I can find on the laptop. We have now tiled above the kitchen worktops in the same cream tiles as next to the cooker and the underneath the window we have tiny green tiles.

Here you go: http://www.flickr.com/photos/redhead007/sets/72157604138955838/ Fitted December 2007. Bought from Howdens Joinery, cost about £2-2.5K if I remember correctly, fitted it ourselves within about a week (and my H is a real perfectionist ?) and I love it! Walls are now just painted cream and I still need a new toaster!

Thank you all so much for sharing your kitchens with me...they are all lovely.

I have got some idea's from them and will be putting them forward to the kitchen designer.

I find it so hard to visualise things and so to see all your kitchens has been really good.

I cannot wait now to get my new kitchen now.

This is our kitchen, it really suits our house and on the other side of the counter we have more cupboards, some pan drawers and a dishwasher.

Really useful thread to see 'real' kitchens instead of showrooms and brochures. Thanks all for posting. We have yet to install our new one but still are working out handles, flooring and tiles.

bettyb - love the first few photos - ours is a bit like that, or will be I hope.

I am so jealous of all of your kitchens, I wish we could do something with ours.

MizzPink - what type of house do you live in? Ours is a 1930s semi and something really modern like yours wouldn't go ?

I'd like a nice big kitchen, ours is only small and it drives me mad when i'm putting dinner out. MrSun fitted it a year or so a go and he did a good job considering.
