Knownowt-photobooks- which company did you use?

Popcorn1, 10 November, 2008 at 19:01 Posted on Off Topic Posts 0 5

KN, I see from the presents thread you have done photobooks for your husband and are pleased with the results. Could I ask which company you used? I remember you posting for suggestions and a few were mentioned.

Many thanks

In the end I just went with Photobox as they were running a 2-for-1 offer [cheapskate icon]. I thought the quality was fine- not what I'd want for a wedding album, say, but perfectly good enough for what is essentially a Christmas novelty (I've made books of the children over the year for them to give to H).

I also found the software very easy to use.

Thank you. Easy to use software is a must. I have the attention span of a gnat these days!

Sorry to crash. I used www.mycreation.co.uk. No idea how they compare on price but I was more than happy with the quality and the software was very simple but effective in terms of templates etc.

I uploaded Pixum.co.uk after one of the ladies at work brought her photo album to work today and it looks fabulous, excellent prints. It's easy to do and has fab backgrounds. They have offers on at the moment, but the downside is that you have to pay either Visa, American express or Mastercard...which I didn't have and have a photo album already to go!

My H uses www.blurb.com, customer service has been good, but I think they might be quite expensive.
