Hi everyone!

I need help please! I'm thinking of having a sweets themed evening reception and was just looking for suggestions?? I was thinking of having a tuck shop table with loads of different jars of sweets, what else would you guys suggest i have?? I want it to be different and something that no one will expect!! Another option would have a Las Vegas themed evening reception, any ideas on that??

I am sure ppl on here have posted about a casino themed evening reception which would tie in with Vegas.

Was you intending on having a disco in the evening?

Yeah i want a disco, but thought of having a casino table for the men as they probably won't be dancing like us ladies!!!!!

That's a good idea. Do you have a big reception hall? Could you even have separate rooms for the disco and the casino?

It's not massive, but big enough to hold 120 seats, so i was thinking of having a tuck shop table and if possible a casino table too, but i really like that idea of having that possiibly in another room. The disco will be in the main reception room though where the buffet will be served. the only thing i suppose is tho, that i'll feel like i'm seperating my guests if i have things going on in 2 rooms, do you know what i mean????

Yeh I do understand that but I doubt those playing at the casino table will want music blaring in their ears. It is a tough one though.

On the Vegas theme you could have a Rat Pack or an Elvis soundalike.
