leggings recommendations (with tummy control panel??)

lisaloulou, 13 August, 2009 at 10:43 Posted on Off Topic Posts 0 2

Can anyone recommend some leggings that are good quality etc with a tummy control panel please? I'm so not fashionable but have some dresses that leggings would go with but fear normal leggings would cut my post-baby belly in half and I'll be left with two rolls of flab.

Also what kind of shoes (dressy and non dressy) go with leggings and dresses?

TIA ?

Hi Lisaloulou, I cannot recommend any leggings that have tummy control, but I too have a post baby tummy and my leggings that I bought from Red Herring in Debenhams fit great and dont cut my tummy in half. They were only 10 pounds and for a dressy look I wore them with some purple stilettos to match my top and for non dressy just some balerina shoes or flat sandals, hope this helps x

I have some from New Look which were also about a tenner. They are extra long length, which means not only can you wear them under the heel should you wish but they are also pull-upable to sit on my waist rather than hips, controlling my tum without worry!

I wear flat sandals or ballets for a daytime look- I have these and these for a couple of examples and for evening, I find "funkier" heels do the job, rather than frilly, overly girly shoes. Hard to explain! Fpr example, I would wear something like these with leggings (and indeed do, near as dammit, as I have some similar) but not something like this
