Seeing everybody else's flashes makes me rethink my ideas .. luckily I haven't really got round to making any firm choices yet so still plenty of time to change my mind!

were really organised, have some of the smaller bits to sort but all the big stuff is done now. Including ordering our wedding rings today. Looks like your just as organised too!!

When I did my 8 month flash not everything was confirmed...

We now have about 6 1/2 months to go!!

Since I last posted I have booked my florist, cake and chosen bridesmaid dresses - they're Vermomia D'Zage style no.DAB11403 and they'll be in pistachio colour! :-) Delighted with them too, so wanted to share.

We have also booked a second Rolls Royce, these are the two we have booked, a 1949 and a 1952.

Still left to do:

• 5 groomsmen suits/cravettes etc
• Wedding rings
• Favours
• Send invites out
• Organise other stationary - Table plan, name places & order of service etc
• Decide on hymns/music for church etc
• Order confetti
• Decide on a first dance song
• Get candles for centrepieces
• Shoes for bridesmaids
• Sort some sort of beauty regime out ?
• Honeymoon??
• Gifts for bridal party - no ideas there, will probably go traditional with a bouquet for our Mothers, but no idea for bridesmaids, best man & usher.

I *think* that's it, but there is bound to be something I haven't thought of!

You pretty much the same as me left to do. I have just ordered personalised 'word art' prints.. from ebay for each of BMs as their gift on the day. They are personal and a lovely keep sake and I just hope they go down well on the morning! Just an idea if you're struggling!

Ooooh, you're the day after me! You're very organised, our next big thing is getting the invites out, it's been a complete pita to sort!

We now have purchased the bridesmaids shoes, which they all agreed pretty quickly on, after my worrying that they'd not agree on shoes as easy as they did the dress, so here they are.


I have also bought their gifts, to present them with on the day, for them to wear (this pics a bit blurry)


and to give you a better idea of their dress colour, it is this colour, from the same range....but in the style you see in the previous photos

Cannot believe there is now just 10 1/2 weeks to go!

I sent the bridesmaids necklaces back, I didn't like them in the flesh! So ordered some other necklaces, plus earrings & some personalised bridesmaids gift bags. Ordered the grooms men some socks with their names & rolls on ?.

We booked our honeymoon, to Las Vegas. Very little left to do now, I think, though its probably time for a list, to see exactly what I have left to sort.

Love the colours you have used. The venue, bridesmaids' dresses and flowers go together perfectly. That wedding dress is stunning!

Thank you :-) Time is flying, we have so much on before the wedding too, mine, H2B & daughters birthdays (H2B is a big birthday too!) plus stag & hen weekends, working, day trips, etc. Ahhhh!!! Excited. Our banns will be read at Church for the 3rd & final time this Sunday :-) We have meetings with our florist, venue, photographer & vicar booked in our diaries, waiting on fitting dates for mine & my bridesmaids dresses, they're due into store at the end of this month, and I am getting a little impatient now! Hair trial is also booked, and our wedding rehearsal too! Busy busy and loving it!!
