Lets just say its hardly smooth or straight, I did think i could have bought some silver stickies and diamante ribbon but not sure if it will be enough to make it not look jank.

I dont understand the want or need to have it done in two places, this is surely to be more complicated than its worth? Im sure there are cake makers who make them look AND taste nice without the need to split services?

I am sure there are, I am not doubting it, but I am choosing to have a cake made that we know we like and so will our guests, at £30 for each tier it is hardly so expensive we can't have it decorated elsewhere the fact she can't decorate cakes just means I have to find someone that can, you make an effort for those things that you want.

Hi, I'm making my own cakes and can not decorate for toffee. The reason for making my own is that I wanted Caribbean cakes and these are far to expensive to get made and iced. The lady we got is decorating the 4 cakes i make and baking us a sponge which she will decorate as well. It was hard finding someone as a lot of cake companies will not just cover a cake. Try smaller companies, you will find someone. XxxX
