Looking for a wrist corsage.

honeysparkle, 31 January, 2012 at 14:30 Posted on Planning 0 4

Hi,

We are only having a small wedding and think a bouquet is just too much for me, so i thought I'd get a wrist corsage instead.

Think country garden, vintage with minimum fussiness. Colour scheme is ivory with touches of rose pink and lilac or lavender (not sure which yet). I think artificial flowers will probably be more practical for me too

Any suggestions from anyone? x

Those are lovely. I've fallen for a simple bouquet but I just don't feel comfortable holding flowers. As a past BM I find them, simply, irritating and after the ceremony what do you do with them. My last BM bouquet ended up in a pint (thanks to my bro) so didn't even get to take them home?

Think I might like something resembling this....x

I like this corsage which could be done in silk/foam. I think its not too big and very classy.

The wrist band is elasticated small pearls and you could incorperate pearls/diamonte/feathers etc into the corsage if you wanted to.

It would also look good in large ivory roses , complimented with pink or lilac

I know you are not keen on a wedding bouquet but you could think about a very small, compact handtied bouquet which could be done in silk?

It wouldnt cost much more than the corsage!
