Looking for advice from B2Bs with young children please!

SunnyPurpleHair123, 21 February, 2015 at 20:07 Posted on Planning 0 8

Hi girls, I'm new! We are getting married 2nd September 16, when our daughter will be almost 4 years old. Our venue doesn't have accommodation and we haven't thought yet about where we will be staying on our wedding night. My question to you all is where your young children will stay/who with? Thanks everyone!

Mine will be 2 and 3. They will be staying with my mum wedding night. I'll have our daughter the night before and my OH will have our son. I think. Still to confirm!

We got married at a hotel & I stayed there the night before with my 3 girls. My parents then took over our room & looked after the girls on the wedding night - I moved to the bridal suite!

Mines 6 months and will be staying with us, but he will probably be heading back to the hotel with his grandparents early and if he was older we'd let him stay with them for the night but were not ready to be parted yet!

Mine will be nearly 2 and 3 and I'm hoping / assuming that my mum and dad will have them for the wedding night. Lol.

We haven't decided what to do with the honeymoon yet but I think my parents would take them for a mini moon!

Not got children but when my SIL got married we had their 13 month old the night before and then their 5 year old too on the night of the wedding. We also looked after them during the day, toilet trips, dinner etc.

Thanks everyone, I think we're sort of expecting the grandparents to have dd, but part of me thinks it would be nice for them to let their hair down too! I don't think there's a way around it really!
