Don't let it get you down! Do you have a good relationship with her usually? Is she married already? Did she have a big wedding? Everyone will have opinions but yours and your OH's are the only ones that matter. Weddings can be expensive but if you can have the wedding you want for that budget then don't let her negativity kill your buzz! And all the better for you guys that you aren't going to be spending loads of money!

Oh no! Try not to let it get you, weddings can cost all different amounts and as long as you have budgeted properly then it'll be ok. Just make sure you get the wedding you want and not be put down by what she says.

I love her!! - And there is two of them 1 is married and hea a expensive wedding and the other is't. I can see where they are coming from i suppose it was the shock of having done a lot on my own and now suddenly having opinions and support lol They are coming up with lots of ideas i just feel a bit...back to the beginning i suppose lol

I agree! And you know, you can always thank them for their input and say - 'yeah, that's an idea. We'll think about it.' Or 'well I appreciate the suggestion but we're happy with what we've got already...'

I would tell them it is none of their business how much you spend on a dress!
