Lovely Londoners- I need your help!

woo-woo, 29 October, 2009 at 11:22 Posted on Planning 0 7

Hi

Just looking for some help.

I have tickets to see Paul McCartney in December at The O2 and I am currently trying to book train tickets.

Could someone please tell me what train station is the closest to the arena please, been trying to figure it out but I am useless, never been to London before.

TIA

x

Well North Grenwich is the nearest Underground station - its literally 2 second walk so you would be better off getting your train ticket to a mainline station like Victoria or Waterloo or London Bridge and getting the tube to North Grenwich

You should get the O2 clipper from Westminster! It's great fun!!

Thanks very much ladies, you've been very helpful.

Barbie, the clipper looks interesting but I am scared of water!

Max I tried Victoria Station and was just the same price as other London stations, ended up getting a return ticket from Edinburgh to Kings Cross for £81 so not as bad as I thought it would be considering we're travelling 3 days before Christmas.

    Hello

From Kings Cross you get the tube, take the Northern line to London Bridge, then change onto the Jubilee line, that'll take you to North Greenwich.

You've done the right thing coming into Kings Cross; from Edinburgh that's the usual route though Euston is possible.

You're welcome. Do you live in Edinburgh? I know it quite well, used to go there all the time. My partner and my best friend from school went to uni there and my brother-in-law and various friends live there.
