Low (1.5-3in) Heels

blushing_bride, 5 February, 2012 at 23:04 Posted on Planning 0 26

Hiya,

Is anyone else having to wear quite low heels? My H2B not much taller than me so I don't want to hear big heels anyway, and my dressmaker has recommended I get between 1 1/2 and 3 inch heels, I can't find any good sites with lower heels, they all seem to be higher or totally flat, just wondering if anyone has came across any good websites or stores.

xx

    Blushing bride- were you looking for anything in particular other than a lowish heel? Strappy, white, silver, gold, wedge etc.

    I've got a pair of ivory low heeled shoes for £59. Google 'Metropolitan by Else' as I can't flash from phone. I am notorious for my inability to wear high heels anymore and always complain my feet hurt. These shoes are very comfy though.

    Lynne and Celticgoddess - both very nice - my dress is white though rather than ivory.

    Teal ideally i think i would quite like a peep toe but can't find any with a low heel, so even a round toe or something would be fine. and was thinking white would be best but will probably be getting diamonte's on them like some of the other hitchers so if this was a problem between white and ivory could probably get the whole shoe done.

    I've just ordered these:

    from http://www.punjabfootwear.com I had a quick look and couldn't see any in teal/white but it might be worth asking. They do them made to measure and with postage cost $55. I won't actually see them till I'm back in April but fingers crossed......

    Not sure if any of these any good. At leats they are all high street so you can try them on & see if they are comfy:

    I'm going for proably no more than 1.5 inch heels. I'd waddle if I went for high heels and that's soo not a good look! Have a look on Ebay, I bagged myself a gorgeous pair of red ones with diamante heels from there once!

    Hope it helps

    I was recommended a lady on Friday who runs a shoe company on-line (although, as of Saturday, she now has a 'proper' shop as well). She has been absolutely fantastic helping me to sort out my bridesmaids who all want different heel heights.

    I have the same issue and thought that lower heeled shoes weren't as wow as the big skyscraper platforms that are so in at the moment. Then i came across mine. I wasnt even looking and ummed and ahhhed for ages until i just got them. I doubt I would have found nicer and I really love them. Was a bit in shock about getting them as I thought it would be a while before I found them and especially as I wasnt really looking. Will probs invest in a pair of ivory ballet shoes for the evening as i will still get sore feet syndrome - I always do!

    First attempt at a flash now:-

    Look for kitten heels or slingbacks - lowish heels but so so elegant and pretty. Mary Janes are usually fairly low heeled too x

    I'm also in exactly the same position and can't wear more than 3". I've got 2 pairs of shoes as can't currently decide which to wear;

    These are from Dune and are roughly 2.6" (sorry for the big flash);

    And these are my Jimmy Choo's - also about 2.6" (they're more silver in the flesh);

    I also need 3" maximum heels and am struggling to find a pair I love, I really wanted heels but my dress will be too short with them now so looking for my 3rd pair of shoes now.

    Debehams debut range online have quite a few to choose from.

    Another vote here for Jimmy Choo - they come in a variety of heel heights.

    These are cute, and white, and dye-able for using again afterwards...

    I love those Irregular Choice ones, had my eye on them for ages! Does anyone know how the sizing usually comes up with them? My feet are quite wide with a high instep... freaky block feet, I know!

    Honestly, if you want comfy shoes, DO NOT buy Irregular Choice!!! I've got a gorgeous pair that I bought a few years ago, but have only been able to wear them twice because they hurt so much!!! Also, I've got ridiculously wide feet, so yes, you can get them to fit, but it is a squeeze, and it makes them even more uncomfortable!!

    Buy some just to look at maybe!!!
