Low cal alcohol?

i cant wait, 23 August, 2009 at 20:44 Posted on Beauty & Wellbeing 0 5

I am not a member of weight watcher or slimming world etc, could anyone tell me what is the lowest cal alcohol? I know wine and beer are not good but could anyone give me an idea of what other options are better? Thanks

Clear spirits generally - gin, vodka, maybe even bacardi. I used to drink vodka and diet coke when out before I realised I liked G&T. Its so difficult getting any other low cal mixer in a pub.

Vodka has about 55 calories in it so I would advise drinking vodka with lime and soda. It's really refreshing and lime cordial doesn't add a huge amount of calories and dramatically improves the taste. I recently wrote a blog post on making smarter choice when drinking, maybe you'll find that helpful?
