I quite like the smell - never used anything though. I bought my SS something from there once and it stunk you my house, then my work - then I presume every post office it passed through!

I was thinking of getting something Christmassy and sticking it in the bathroom without using it just to keep place smelling nice - but their Christmas range isn't that inspiring!

I like their bubble bath bars. They're lovely.

And also my sister gave me a pot of some super-dooper fresh conditioner for my hair. Smelt icky but worked wonders for my tortchuerd hair.

I can see what people mean about the smell-headache. The bodyshop does that to me.

They do a fairy dust bath bomb which I like, but I don't like any other stuff. It's a bit strong smelling for me.

I like it - it smells lovely, but it's all a bit 'strong' for my skin, and I find it quite drying...possibly the perfume. I used to like the 'angels on bare skin' face wash when I was a teenager

I love LUSH! OH hates the smell but I'm like a kid in a sweet shop in there!

I use the Coalface cleanser which is great for my skin, it always makes a visible difference to it. I used to use The Blonde shampoo until they stopped making it ? I've also used the American Cream conditioner and various bath bombs which I love but I find their soaps a bit drying.

Honey I Washed The Kids soap is just delightful. I want to bite chunks off it.

Lush have a really unique management structure for high street retail as well. The store managers are allowed to run the store as thier own pretty much with limited guidance from head office- useful fact for you all.

as an aside I love bath bombs from there. Yes they are generic but also fabulous.

I love their bubble bars and bath bombs, do find a lot of their stuff just too sickly sweet for my tastes though!

Another lover of the bath bombs and bubble bars, but some of them leave the bath in a terrible mess afterwards. A soggy petal ring and leaves in the plug hole etc

I love their stuff. Bath bombs are fab.

At one time I had a really bad dry itching scalp and no dandruff shampoo I tried would shift it. Lush shampoo soap bars worked wonders.

I love lush and love the smell of the shops. I love the bath bombs and bubble bars but some of them irritate my skin so I have to stick to the ones I know are ok.

I also love the angels on bare skin face wash. I used to use a sea-salt shampoo from there which was slightly more hard work than normal shampoo but made my hair feel amazing. I had to stop using it when I started bleaching my hair though as I need something that was extra moisturising. I've never tried the shower jelly though.

I do like the products. I just hate going in there. I always get pounced in by some of their staff members and feel pressured to buy. It's really put me off.

I love Lush products! I mainly go there to buy stuff as it's not tested on animals but do love the smell of the shop, just going near it draws me in haha.
Love their bath bombs and i'm currently using ocean salt in the shower as well as some soap & glory products, & got a good scrub called ultrabland and I love their Turkish delight shower smoothies.

Have had other nice ones but can't think of their names right now, i'd say they are as good as people make out tho, I love them Smiley smile

Got to love lush! Never had the shower jelly, but the angel face wash and body butter bars are fab. The bath bombs, too Smiley smile I used to use the solid shampoo, too, but don't anymore as I prefer what John Frieda does for it...

Agree, and as a result have never set foot in one. Boss bought me a box of bath bombs for Christmas. The box was beautiful, but chucked the bombs as the smell made me want to heave!

    Oooh I do love Lush.

My top tip for the shower jelly is this. Get one of those exfoliating glove things, and put about a pea-sized amount of shower jelly (maybe a little more) INSIDE the glove. Then wet the glove, and squish it repeatedly in your hand until it starts to lather. Then rub on your skin. Exfoliates, cleans, smells lovely and makes the jelly last FOREVER!

Never tried their stuff, but I love the smell. My H hates it, and waits outside, while I go in and sniff everything, and have a little test...

I like the look of soap bars, but would never buy one. where do you store them? Do they sit on the side, all slimy?

I bought a sea salt face wash from there recently and it's the best thing I've ever used on my dry face skin as it's really exfoliating.

I used to go there for stuff, but I read some reports of how some of their 'charity' money was being used, so I stopped.

Not a fan -the smell is just far too strong. Am a sucker for any of the fruity body shop products though.

They do a lot of good exfoliating stuff - my favourite is buffy the backside slayer, one of their body butter bars! I think they might just call it buffy now, thoough...

HA - its turning out like that isn't it - every post to see if there are any references to things loved or hated.

Though with Lush - you will know its Lush as soon as you pick up the parcel

Hehe, I wouldn't have thought of that, but you are right, I bet loads of people do the same with all the threads for the next week to gain ideas. I'm already attempting to *secretly stalk* my otter.

But I do personally love Lush, although not all the products, but some are great for skin with the oils they have in them.

    *Old gimmer alert*

It was definitely Cosmetics to Go in Poole.

I have been a fan since they started (thank you Mark Constantine) and still use their Ginger perfume in the winter. It reminds my offspring of their childhood.

A visit to their shop used to be the highlight of a trip to see my in laws back in the 80s.

Ahhh after further reading - Cosmetics House LTD was the parent company when they had considered being suppliers for other companies such as Body Shop, and CTG was their original mail order/shop business
