I have a mouse with the little grey rolly button thingy. it keeps stopping in terms of its forward and rear motion - is there a safe way of prising it apart and cleaning out the housing etc? i really want to stick a screwdriver in it and pop it open but i m not sure if this will bugger it up or not. any ideas?

Mr kmw just said that there are loads of videos on you tube on how to do this. Here is one of them http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T-lIE6lKiFk&feature=related

    Hope this helps.

An easy way (haven't looked at the links) is to get a piece of paper and turn the mouse upside down and roll the grey nub across the paper.
