Made me laugh

Text from OH: Have you planned anything for dinner tonight?

Me: No, I think it is your turn to cook ?

OH: Ok, Want to use the vouchers for free Pizza Express?

Me: Sounds good but it is still your turn friday

OH: OK, i wil reheat your rissotto!

Me: that works only if you buy me pudding tonight!

I think that is fair enough! And i have been good all day at work and not had home made coffee cake. I deserve cheesecake!

Haha, I love it. 'I ordered the pizza & brought it from the front door to you so I cooked'!! Although, I admit I do this sometimes.... and then feel guilty when OH cooks up a storm the following nite!

I have to say I am generally very lucky and he shares the cooking with me. In fact he has just come home and put the washing on.

and I do love me some pizza!

He's got it sussed, your fella!

I feel lucky to have my husband for a wide range of reasons, but at least a couple of times a week I slap my forehead for it having taken me until I was 35 to bag a man who not only is capable in the kitchen but prefers to do most of the cooking. I swear, I could put up with a fair few negatives to offset that one. It's bliss!

And yeah, if we're being lazy he's also first to volunteer to collect the takeaway, so he's pretty much perfect then lol.

Jeeze no, I agree with those of you who think you are lucky to have OHs who cook! MF seriously can't even make toast! He makes stuff like that for himself, but I'd never eat it! Always burnt, with far too much spread (I only like real butter) and jam. Rank. He once insisted that he could make scrambled eggs, when they arrrived he'd used stock cooking marg on the toast and hadn't put any salt and pepper in them! Ugh.

Since I'm fussy I don't mind doing the cooking, at least I know I'll eat it! He does all the washing up!

My H is the cook in our house.

When he is away in the week, I cook for my kids, but when H is home, he does all the cooking.

He likes looking after me, as I have "been on my feet all week, looking after the kids, and running the house" (his words) ? Not going to argue with that...
