Made my guest book *flash*

Jaysmonkey, 27 August, 2013 at 10:38 Posted on Planning 0 16

It's only simple, but I'm really happy with it.

The flowers are vintage lucite from one of grandma's necklaces Smiley smile

That's cute! Did you have that stamp custom made?

I wish people getting married around the same time as me would stop posting completed crafty things!!

    Very pretty ❤️

I bought a cheap plain guest book of eBay ages ago, you've just inspired me to get it out the cupboard and finally decorate it ;-)

    Thank you! ❤️

Hehe, yes the stamp I designed and sent my drawing to the maker who then tweaked and then hand carved my stamp. She's amazing, based in Sweden but really good prices too, this is my fourth stamp from her. Google This is Just to say rubber stamps.

I bought the plain book off ebay and thought heck why not I can make it myself ?, I contemplated designing a fingerprint tree but O/H doesn't like them! ?

That looks fab. Have you embossed it as well somehow? I'd like to do something similar for our invites but I wouldn't have a clue where to start!

    Thank you!

I have embossed it, got some silver embossing powder from ebay and a Dovecraft heat gun.

All you need to do is stamp, sprinkle on the powder, shake off the excess and heat until the powder 'melts', it dries instantly and then it's done Smiley smile

Thanks so much everyone ? x
