Magic pants recommendations

poshpaws, 2 July, 2008 at 19:35 Posted on Off Topic Posts 0 9

I've succumbed to lure of magic pants (or Gok pants as we call them in our office) and have decided to get some to slip down my huge arse, thighs and belly a little for a dress I'mn going to wear in a week. Can anyone recommed a particular brand? Is M&S ones any good?

Cheers me dears!

I have a full body suit by spanx.

Its like a pair of cycling shorts and then comes all the way under the bust, I did I have just a pair of the cycling shorts style but i found when i sat down I just ended up with a huge muffin top whereas the full body suit keeps it all tucked in nicely Smiley winking

i have debenhams torture pants, they are opnly fat tummy ones but they come uo under the boobilage so there is no overspill, and they are pretty round the bum area and has no VPL, i have not tried ones for the thighs.

They work well, but are a sod to get on and off for a wee when you have had a few ?

I have Spanx pants, they come down to above my knee, they do the job but aren't the most comfortable.

Right, I will go to Debbo's and seek out the torture pants, they sound ok. I'm not so bothered about my thighs as the skirt of my dress flares out, would just like to have less bum and bumpy bits on the side.

As for the spanx pants, where do you get them from?

just incase, torture pants are my name for them, i am not suggesting you are not too bright Poshpaws, but just thought if i was reading this thread, i would go and ask them where their torture pants are, but i guess i should not tar everyone with my thicky brush ?

I got my spanx from Debenhams, the lady in there recommended them and said they were better than the Trinny & Suzannah ones, and they were cheaper.

Another vote for the spanx all in one. I can't really see the pint of the ones with no legs/belly bit. Surely if you need hold it in pants, you're going to bulge where they stop? So play safe and have them stop above the knee and below the bust!
