Maidens Barn, Chelmsford

I haven't been to a wedding at Maidens Barn but we did view it. I thought the location of the bar in realtion to the dancefloor was actually a selling point. I imagine people would make their way to the bar and then before they knew it find themselves on the dancefloor!

We've worked at Maidens barn more times than I can remember and there's never been a problem with disjointedness in the past that we've noticed.

The bar is actually in a great place I think because it means that people don't have to stray too far from the dancefloor to get a drink (and often once people are off it can be a chore to get them back on again) There's also the space on the other side of the stairs with access to the tables, so the whole thing is actually quite open compared to many venues.

I too have done quite a few weddings at Maidens Barn and I also think it works very well. Nice venue.
