Major wobbles - help!!

sarahv75, 22 April, 2010 at 13:21 Posted on Planning 0 11

Sorry for the post, but I just need someone to make me feel better! I'm just really stressed that I've gone off my dress, and that my hair won't look as good as I want it to on the day. My last hair trial went well but I kept my hair in and tried my dress on with everything and just didn't feel as special as I thought I would. Plus my stupid hair started falling out a bit about an hour after it'd been done, despite me not washing it that day and having tons of hairspray and backcombing done.

I've only got 2 days so it's not like I can change anything now! Maybe it's just nerves but it's all hit me at once!! ?

Aww Claire has it down perfectly. Once it's the day itself you will feel, and look like a million dollars. Every time I see pics of brides I think how amazing they look.

Thanks, I'm sure I'm just worrying about nothing really.

Spoke to the hairdresser (my cousin) the other day and she said she'll use a donut in it. At least she'll actually be at the wedding so if it starts to fall out she can help! Still can't help but think I should have chosen a different hairstyle though... Also I haven't had a makeup trial - my aunty is a makeup artist and is just gonna do it on the day. Eek!

Just had a phone call to say the flowers for my centrepieces are in. I managed to get wholesale tulips straight from Holland! So that'll distract me this afternoon, hopefully! x

Yeah that is an added bonus! It's more the actual style that I'm still not sure about. I never wear my hair up normally so it feels a bit strange...

Think she's busy tonight and tomorrow! But I'll text her and see what she suggests. My hair is quite fine and just below shoulder length - if it was longer i'd have loose waves put in, but they look daft with hair my length and make my hair bounce up too much lol!

I had the "OMIGOD I'm going to be so ugly and I don't feel special" strop at the weekend. Just think about the projected sunshine and GETTING MARRIED! Xx
