Make Up Experts

Hi All

I am after a bit of make up advice. I have quite an uneven skin tone so on a day to day basis use Maybelline Mousse Foundation which I like with but it is quite a heavy coverage. However I am going on holiday in September to Turkey and I don't really want to wear too much make-up.

So my question is, what can I use that is lightweight but will even out my skintone. Any recommendations or tips would be great.

Thanks in advance

SP

I use mineral foundation. Jane Iredale purepressed if I'm feeling flush

Or Lily Lolo if I'm not

There are loads of tutorials on u tube for application techniques, and you will need to invest in a good kabuki brush to apply the minerals properly

Hi, I'm not a makeup expert by any means but I love the Bare Minerals range. It gives as much coverage as you want/need it to as you just layer it up. As it is a mineral powder, it is as light as a feather and has nothing nasty in it! I bought my first batch in Feb and only had to replace it on Friday! Some Debenhams and House of Fraser are stockists but you can also order online. Hope this helps .x.

Thanks, I didn't think about mineral make up, I have heard that it is very lightweight.

How about just using a tinted moisturiser? They are really light, yet give good coverage!

Another recommendation for Bare Minerals - it really is fantastic stuff, and so light with no rubbish in it! And it is sooooo easy to apply.

I have very uneven skin, and on bad days i use estee lauder double wear (anyone who has used this will know how thick it is!) yet No7s tinted moisturiser (SPF 15) can cover everything on a good day (by good day I mean no spots)

I really like it. Mind you I am totally allergic to Maybelline, so my skin seems to be a bit weird!

I tell myself the longer i get spots i'm delaying the onset of wrinkles!
