Make up - Spray on or normal?

ExcitedBride.com, 12 January, 2012 at 21:09 Posted on Planning 0 4

Hi All,

Has anyone heard of the 'spray on' type make up?

If so is it 'better' that normal make up?

Honestly - Im so confused??!! :-s

Ok, I don't use make up, although know many artists that do. Apparently it lasts longer and doesn't require "repairs" that traditional makup sometimes does.

It is also used in broadcast filming where HD is involved as it is believed it gives a smoother finish. HD can sometimes show brush strokes. There have been some safety issues though, so do check that you will be in a well ventilated area before allowing applications of this type of make up.

Do you mean the airbrush make-up. I didn't actually have it for my big day but I did have an airbrush trial and I really liked it. It was very light, lasted all day and didn't form creases (I'm an oldy), , ,?

Can I ask why you didnt end up having it?

Thanks for you advice and comments! :-)

I went with a different make-up artist in the end and the one I used didn't do airbrush.

As I said I was a 40 something bride and the girl that did the airbrush was very young and she couldn't get the eye make-up right for me. I did love the foundation though.

Im having a trial with airbrush but not til April! I have heard great things though! My foundation is the most important bit for me so i thought id give it a go! It does seem to be more expensive though!
