make up trial- who sees?

I had one and my OH saw me. Its so long before the event i dont think he'd remember it anyway!!!

Um for me i don't want OH to see anything but I think it's just down to personal preference...so whatever you are happy with like others have said I doubt he will remember and when everything is put together you will look anyway

It's really down to personnel preference. Some brides don't let anyone see their makeup at the trial and some show everyone. I always say that your partner won't have the full idea of how you will look on the day by just seeing your makeup as he doesn't know your dress or hair and they probably won't try to imagine what you will look like on the day.

Keeping your makeup on will give a good test to see how long it lasts and like you said your spending money on the trial so make the most of it. I always think it's a bit of a shame to have your makeup done and then take it off or not go out and show it off.

Sorry to Hi-Jack your post - but I am having my hair and make trial on the same day so that I can see what they look like together - do you think that I shouldnt let OH see my hair and make-up?

I don't think it matters showing OH make-up at all and the vast majority of men will not even notice unless of course you never wear make-up at all. However hair and make-up is a whole new look and most people wouldn't wear a wedding style as their everyday style.

My OH is like this too - would not have a clue!! I'm happy to let him see my make up trial. What he'll glean from the colour of eyeshadow and coverage of foundation I wear I don't know!

I think I'll let my OH see my make up trial - I usually just wear a bit of mascara and eye liner unless it's a special occassion and when I was bridesmaid a few years back, he couldn't quite get his head around me in proper make-up so I'm hoping that him seeing me in a bit more will ease him into it for the day! Hope that makes sense!
