Mine are a bit cheaty homemade. I ordered off vistaprint (cheap! £40ish) then added diamontes, ribbon and made tags for hotels, meal choices and rsvps.

I now laugh at April 16th RSVP date I'm still chasing! Xx

Argh, Alexandrawedding - lovely invitations, but you should think about deleting your second photo.

Your mobile phone numbers, home address and email address are there for all to see! There's some odd people online, please be careful.

the chicken pie sounds delicious though!!

Aaaaah. Well I spent £20 at the weekend on sample card, envelopes, stickers, ribbons, stamps, diamontes etc. As I said, tried a few but didn't go well. I may have to look into the printing the "main" part although we have 2 "inserts" - Polite notices (re. social media, photos, gifts etc) and Useful Information (hotels, address, taxis etc). Definitely want my own "stamp" on it though.....

Any excuse for a flash ?,

I've still got to print the inside bit, but no rush (well not yet) for that bit.

I will say my first few attempts were awful too (below picture) so dont be too disheartened at firs

I made my own by getting blank pocketfolds and envelopes online and printing the inserts on a5 card using work printer. Stuck together using double sided tape and tied with string for rustic effect. Designed using downloaded graphics from etsy too. It was so cheap to do although printing had to be done gradually so no one at work noticed I was printing so much personal stuff! A few people have commented how nice they looked and how "posh" they were so very pleased as cost me about £50 in total!

This thread below takes you to mine. The main thing is practice. Get a fairly clear idea of what you want. Be aware of your talents and limitations so you set yourself an achievable goal and also think of what resources are available to help you get the look you want, eg font styles, backgrounds, pictures etc from the internet. Can you access a good printer? Find a good online supplier of the materials and get good quality card and paper etc. I've put links below for the ones I used. Practice on cheap paper first though. The quality of your materials makes a massive difference. Places like Hobbycraft are often more expensive with limited choice. Getting dead square folds is nigh in impossible without a machine. Also for cuts - try and get a guillotine. If you want folds, get the card pre-scored or folded. If you know you want a set size, get it pre-cut (PDA will do that for you). It's these basics that make the difference between something looking good or not....For my supplies I used

https://www.pdacardandcraft.co.uk/ for all my card, paper, velum and envelopes

    and

http://www.meiflower.co.uk/ for all the decorative bits. Found both to be superb. You can also getbits off ebay too.
