Manchester - self-catering apartments?

French-Fancy, 14 July, 2009 at 10:02 Posted on Off Topic Posts 0 4

Can anyone give me any recs for self-catering apartments in Manchester City Centre? Something very central as none of us know Manchester and maybe near the train station? To sleep between 4-6 per room?

? TIA

I'm assuming you're talking about short term lets. I don't know about specifics because it wasn't me personally that arranged the bookings but the company I work for has used Opal Estates for short term lets successfully,

    We've also used this one:

    Hi,

I've stayed at these recently and they're great value http://premiersuitesmanchester.eu

Manchester Victoria station is less than 5 mins walk and the Printworks is just down the road too so great location!

    Hope it helps xx

Depends which train station you mean. The City Stop appartments are close to Victoria, and they're really nice. If you want closer to Piccadilly, you've got www.theplacehotel.com which are absolutely stunning.

I stayed at the blue rainbow apartments ,something like £130 on a Saturday night for a 2 bed that comfortably slept 4. Loads of breakfast cereal / bread / tea / milk etc provided in the kitchen for brekkie and dead clean. Would definately stay there again

Down by deansgate so short walk / quick taxi depending on where you want to go.

I've previously stayed in an apartment in central Manchester called Boxworks - booked through a company called Stayin Cool.

The apartment was very contemporary and spacious with underground parking and groceries provided - would highly recommend it.
