I am getting married in March (30th) too but a teeny tiny wedding and then going abroad for a few days. We're not really having a theme as we're going out for a meal rather than a reception but we will have pale colours.

How about those lovely see through umbrellas for the wedding party incase of rain? I have seen some great photos with them and you can get them edged in a colour to match your theme x

    Welcome Lauren!

Umbrellas... that's a great idea. I wouldn't be worried about the the rain. You could have very romantic pictures in the rain ☂️ and I love snow too! I know that all of us would like a sunny wedding day but in the end who cares.... it's all about you and your partner, your family and friends so... happy wedding day! ?

    Welcome!

March is a great month. We got married in March 2012 - I chose March as I didn't want everyone expecting it to be lovely weather. I had umbrellas and made sure I chose a venue with enough inside space in case it rained.

As it turns out it was absolutely glorious on the day (about 25 degrees!) but then it was snowing two weeks later! So you never know with the UK!

As for a theme - I didn't have an intentional theme I just went with quite a natural wood/ivory feel throughout.

    Hi

Have had to register in order to answer this. Yeay me too I'm getting married on 7th too and can't wait. We are having Navy Blue and cream as our colours, I initially bought vintage pink bridesmaid dresses for my two younger bridesmaids and then Could not find a dress for my Chief Bridesmaid to match so decided to switch. I chose Navy as I loved a navy blue dress I found when trying to find pink. What colours did you go for? Where a outs in the country are you I am from Durham

    I'm March 20th Smiley smile

No particular theme and sticking to vintage pink, silver & white as our colours.

We are having a Motown funk/soul band so prob doing a bit of glitz but nothing too blingy as not fans of that. More vintage romantic style I guess.

weather won't matter too much as getting married in the same place the reception is in and there's lots of lovely places to have pics if weather is crap. Also opting for reportage style photography with a few staged standard family pics so think that will help.

snowing would be fab! Except not too heavy in case my 30+ guests from overseas got delayed!

have you got everything booked yet? I'm panicking as I've loads left to do!

We are on the 6th! Smiley smile

we haven't chosen a colour - our theme has kind of turned into vintage/rustic without us meaning it too! To be honest we weren't going to have a theme at all, our venue is a beautiful barn venue and we wanted to let the venue speak for itself and keep it simple. Lots of tea lights, very simple flowers etc etc. But without meaning we have kind of expanded on that with borrowing and buying bits!!

I am not worried about the weather Smiley smile you can get some fantastic photos in the rain - if it is sunny that's a bonus if it isn't that's ok too! I have got myself a little faux fur jacket though to keep me warm!!

O wow so many people getting married in march 2015!! :0) and someone on the same day as me! I have a wedding twin! How exciting!

Well initially we were just going to Vegas as I don't want all the fuss, I really don't care about the day at all, I just care about the marriage.. But we kind of got guilt tripped into it! So we changed it a few weeks ago to here but kept the date! So that meant organising for a wedding in 3 months! Lol I managed to organise and book everything in 3 days though, I don't Understand all the fuss!lol

we have gone for a country chic/vintage theme... So bunting, hessian sack accessories, jam jars filled with tea lights and different lace/ribbon round them etc.. No particular one colour, but pastels.. :0)

Quite excited now though! I just wish I didn't have to wait the 3 months and could do it now! Been a long time coming for us, we are getting married on our 8 year anniversary! :0)

yep umbrellas will look fab if raining, but I kind if am wishing for snow!lol xxxx

I'm March 20th too, colours are navy and ivory (but no theme as such). Hoping it doesn't tip it down, or snow for that matter! Seen nice umbrellas though, just in case. It felt like ages when we booked the venue in April 2013 but is now just round the corner, eek!
