Marquee venues Surrey

Hi all,

I'm getting married in Cobham, Surry in June 2013 and am currently looking at reception venues. We really want to have a marquee somewhere but are finding that this is a really expensive way to do it, as the charges for just the space are extortionate when you consider you'll then need marquee and catering. We're now wondering if there's anywhere more off the beaten track - a random field, sports club ground, village hall field etc. where we could erect a marquee, rather than a recognised or established wedding venue. Any ideas welcome!

    No sorry I dont. I know Silvermere have a new marquee there but its all ready set up but no idea about land you can build one on yourself sorry x

    Hi i am new to this site but thought id pass this information on. i had a friend who recently got married and had her reception in a marquee, she hired a marquee from a family runned business. www.marquees2please.co.uk and they arrange everything for her down to chairs lighting, dance floor etc etc she said they were very professional and friendly and helped her every step of the way to make her day special. Just thought id pass this information on for any1 that is interested in hiring a marquee as this company get a big thumbs up Smiley smile
