We went to Paris for a long weekend. My sister bought us Eurostar vouchers for a wedding pressie and we hadn't got round to using them, so we booked a weekend trip to Paris for our First Anniversary with them. We got married in the winter too, and Paris is in the Winter is gorgeous. We'd only been in the Spring before so it was a completely different experience.

We went to Paris. And hated it. We were in some dodgy hotel with carpet on the walls and ceilings. H didn't sleep a wink the first night as he thought we were giong to get mugged or worse! ? Saturday we tried to change our return Eurostar tickets but they said no. So we got very very very drunk in the sex quarter.Watched about 5 strip shows and spent a fortune on porn films! We then had to check out of our hotel and find another. We ended up in the Ibis. Sunday was spent trying not to throw up on a tourbus of the city and the Eurostar home.
