Anyone have their wedding there, or attending on? I'd really love something that is old and has character. I love modern hotels too, but I really fancy something like this for the big day.

Any other recs for venues around Manchester would be welcome too??

We shot a wedding their in 2007, staff and food were excellent.

Lots of potential for nice photographs

Other venues will depend where abouts in Manchester Chancellors Hotel is nice, Midland Hotel in the City Centre, in Cheshire we like Shrigley Hall, Stanneylands Hotel and Peckforton Castle (depending on your budget ?)
