Anyone else watching?

I like Mat, but I think Andy will win.

Can I just also just grumble at the continuity. Sending them off on the Eurostar, to get to France is fine, obviously. But the other two went to N Spain and Denmark. Thats just ridiculous. ?

I hope Andy wins ... but think it might be Matt, we'll know in two minutes!

I was pleased with the winner. The other 2 looked sooo disappointed.

Andy looked totally gutter when he lost

I am pleased Matt won - he really seemed to develop through the series

Dear god, I've never seen one man blub so often. I'm seriously beginning to doubt if he has the mental stamina to run a busy restaurant.

And as for "doing it for the family", I'm sure they'd rather you were around to spend time with them, not coming home exhausted at 2 am every morning.

I knew Mat would win. I didn't find this series as exciting, even though the two shouters said that this was the best food they had every seen.

I don't know Nick. It seems to me that the restaurant trade is something of a young man's game (and yes, I know there are exceptions) - between all the TV / PR work he'll be involved in over the coming months, then trying to get his fish place started up, I wonder how much time he'll have for his 3 young daughters. I'm not saying people shouldn't chase their dreams, but it seems disingenuous of him to suggest it is "for the family".

He's doing it because he wants to.

I was pleased Mat won, although he's going to need to speed up if he's going to prep and cook food professionally - the episode where he was cutting mushrooms the other night, I wanted to jump into the telly and grab his knife off him and do them myself, he was so slow!

I thought Christopher was the weakest of the 3 and Andy looked totally gutted not to have won.
