Matching Tie for the Grooms Father?

Yes usually the father of the groom is a member of the grooms party.

If your dad is then it would seem a bit odd that OH's dad isn't.. if neither dad is having it then thats fine though.

I'm not that close to my dad - I'm going to ask hime to give a speech but he's not part of the wedding party - so OHs dad has a matching tie, but my dad doesnt... maybe there will b ructions, but time will tell! ;o)

To me, if grooms father has one but not brides father thats ok, but if brides father is having one then grooms father ought to as well.. dunno why, just seems that way in my head i guess!

Nutella for some reason it is the other way round in my head! Something to do with old traditions of Brides parents hosting and walking down the aisle I think!
