May 19th 2012-date twins?

Hi Freckles!

Not quite a date twin but getting married on the 14th so pretty close. As we're being odd and getting married on a monday I dont think I will have any exact date twins!!

Also being a bit different (!) on the wedding itself- going away for a week to the isles of scilly with a few close people. We have booked accommodation, registrar, venue (sort of- still working out details, but got the date in), not having evening entertainment (dinner party stlye instead) and probably not having professional tog either. I have my dress though, also shoes. Invites are going out in a few weeks (early because people have to plan finances/ travel/ accommodation), making our wedding rings next weekend. Think thats it so far... So excited its under a year now and can start doing even more things! I keep thinking there isnt much to do with it being so small and because of the location we dont really have choices with suppliers (eg. one cake maker, 1 hair/ make up salon, a couple of flower ladies etc- luckily everyone seems really good!) I'm sure there'll end up being more to do than I think though!

Good Luck with the planning, hope it wont be too stressful- you still have a whole year- slow and steady I reckon is the best way.

We've booked all the major things: Church, Venue, DJ, TOG and Choccie Fountain

I've also got my dress and have decided on BM dresses

Just trying to sort out cake and invites at the mo

Still got all the details to sort out. Plus suits, accessories and FG dresses

When did you start planning though? We started back in Sept

We got engaged in October and started looking at venues at Christmas so haven't been planning quite as long as you.

Haven't started dress shopping yet-should do soon though really as i'm very indecisive. Just worried if i do it too soon I might change my mind!

You probably should start getting some ideas of dresses; it took me about 5 months of on and off searching to find mine, and I have an extra one in my spare room... Oops! Dress shops like you to order early, though you can do it closer to the time. It really depends on how quickly you find one you like. I think I tried on about 28 in total!!! (Though my Mum only thinks I tried on 15) I'm too indecisive!

Ooooh Its less than a year now! I have evrything booked except for bridesmaid dresses which we are looking for in July and mens suits. I am now just in a panic about saving the pennies!

Agree with NurseBride2B about your dress as i took quite a while to pick mine and it takes 6 months to come into the shop too x

I'm having mini-panics about saving too... Thought I was doing so well as well!

If i think about it too much i start to feel like i cant breathe ? no, its not that bad but we are 4k over budget, whooops!
