5 weeks today for us and I am absoloutly cr*pping myself!!!

We still have a lot (I MEAN A LOT!) of little things to sort! And a lot of stuff we have left to do is making things and making last little decisions, like First dance (thats a nightmare) and table names etc.

OH MY GOD i actually feel sick, i cant even feel excited yet cos Im so stressed ahhhhhh!!

We decided that the easter weekend before the wedding were hoping to have most things done and dusted and we can lock ourselves away at home and just chill ?

Im coming out in spots aswell to top things off! ?

It's a month on Monday for us and I'm exactly the same....can't stop thinking about weddingy stuff, but totally crapping myself at the same time!

We leave 3 weeks today though,so that's pretty much our 'D' day; After that, anything we've missed will have to stay missed! The penny well and truly dropped for me at work last week when I was talking to one of my regulars. She was going on about how quickly we'd got to this point, and how fast these next few weeks would go, but when she said that "this time next week it'll be little more than a fortnight and you'll only have one week left at work" that it really dawned on me just how close it actually was! Apparently, my face was a picture!!?

I am actually really excited when I sit and think about it - as much for the fact that we'll get to see our friends again for the first time in 12 months - but at the same time I'm also quite scared by all the 'what if....' 's. It's really starting to dawn on me that this is a really big, grown up thing to do, not just a chance to dress up in a pretty dress and be indulged for a day and that I'm actually doing something that will last for the rest of my life rather than just a few hours (not that I wasn't already aware of that, but it's really starting to hit home now IYSWIM).

I keep wondering if I'm still too young to do something quite so big and life changing.............and then I have to remind myself that I'm 35 years old!!?

Yep - 6 weeks today for me too!! So blimmin excited i think i might burst!!!! Had a dress and BM dress fitting today and nearly cried with happiness!! I wish I could bottle this feeling a keep it forever!

I am proud to say I have had no bridezilla moments and am totally enjoying every minute of it - although do have a little panic every time i remember that i still have to make my wedding cake!!!!

We've only got the finishing touches left so whatever doesn't get done, doesn't matter! Although, to be fair, I have suddenly started delegating lots of it which has helped so much!!

I must be insane as have decided to throw my sister a surprise 30th birthday party 3 weeks before the wedding (for which i am making her cake too), and a royal wedding BBQ 2 weeks before the wedding for both our families so we can go together before the wedding!

Next thing on the list - to tell the kids we have booked a mini moon to Disneyland Paris with them - I CANNOT wait - they will be so surprised!!!!

Happy planning everyone - enjoy the exciting weeks ahead!!!!

I have my dress fitting on Tuesday and cannot wait! I'm a little worried that I've lost too much weight and the alterations lady will say she can't take it in enough though ?

We still have a massive heap of origami flowers to make, but loads of other wedding-y stuff has arrived this week and is cluttering up our conservatory. AND - this is very exciting - we've had 2 wedding presents off our Amazon list delivered. One was a lawnmower (much needed!) and the other was a really pretty cafetiere. Made coffee in that this morning and it's just fab. So exciting to be able to say "yeah this was a wedding present from xxxxxx"

H2b bought his suit yesterday too! He went shopping with his dad while I was at work and sent me a pic of him trying it on. He looks so smart and lovely! Now i just need to try and persuade him that he needs to buy a new shirt for the wedding day. Today I'm off out to buy my underwear, fun times!

7 weeks and still quite a bit to do:

    Find wedding shoes

    Have BM dresses altered

Buy jewellery for BM and me

    Underware for me

Choose first dance song - this is proving to be a nightmare.

    Gifts for parents

Choose wine and food for the day

Design and print 'Order of Service'

Oh and buy our wedding rings!!!

Is this a normal kind of 'to do list' for someone who is 7 weeks away? I'm stressing a bt! ?

I refuse to allow it to rain. Don't get me wrong, I love rainy wedding photos but we really want to make the most of the lovely gardens at our venue and have outdoor games and a bouncy castle for the kids!

It's 54 days to go and will be 7 weeks on Saturday. I am excited but feeling quite emotional about it all and tend to 'go quiet' at times which I think is me worrying about nerves.

We went to church yesterday and I just kept filling up; first at the organ playing then when we had our 1st banns read and everyone was praying for us ?

Absolutely terrified about the day, and seriously need to get a grip lol! Just got it all to look foward to now as everything's paid and arranged. Time to sit back, relax, and look forward to my hen day, nights and counting down! ?

    Final meeting with florist

    Hair trial

A couple of men need to be measured for suits still!

I'm really struggling with favours. We weren't going to have them at all but then I saw a listing on eBay for 100 little organza bags in exactly our shade of blue, so I thought sod it! Now I need to find something to fill them. They're doubling up as name tag holders too. We think sweets will be the easiest thing to do but don't fancy going down the sugared almonds/foil wrapped chocolate hearts route. Not sure what else to try! H2b just shrugged and mumbled something about Haribo when I asked him!

7 weeks next Sunday for me (or 55 days if you prefer) and I think the build up anxiety is taking it's toll! I had my first ever actual real life panic attack yesterday. I was only washing the dishes, and I just felt like I couldn't breathe and had to fling off my Marigold's and run out of the house. OH was like "WTF was that?!". I think he is worried I am having second thoughts! lol.

The truth is, I am not at all anxious about being married, I can't wait, and I am not stressed about anything in particular. I think it might just be nerves about the expectation of the day of you know what I mean? What is expected of me, whether I will live up to those expectations and whether everyone will enjoy the day.

I have less than 5 weeks to go now and am trying to do the Ostrich thing and not think about it too much but everytime I switch on the television someone is talking about the Royal Wedding and mine is the week after so its proving difficult!

I feel like I still have loads to do and then feel like there are probably tons of things I havent even thought of!

shoes to buy for the bridesmaids and flowergirls

    favors for the guests

best man and parents thank you gifts

    first dance

order of service to be approved and printed by priest

table plan - we dont even have a confirmed list of guests as yet - oops!

    wedding rings to buy (!!)

    hair accessories to sort out

    cars and transport for guest

We are getting married in Ibiza so there are things that I cant do til we get there and we dont arrive til 3 days before the wedding. I am starting to dream about the wedding so i think i must be subconsciously stressing about it even if my conscious mind refuses to let me believe it!

I really feel like it just wont get done in time.........ok am going to breathe out now and put my head back in the sand!

    DRESS FITTING TODAY, SQUEEEEEE!!!!

Sorry, I haven't seen my dress since October and I've lost almost 2 stone since the last time I tried it on so I am DESPERATE for 3pm to come around so I can go swish about in my dress a bit and see it all together with my shoes, veil and jewellery! NNNNNNGGGGGHHH!!!

I saw h2b in his suit this morning (silly boy has decided he wanted to wear it to an important meeting at work - the one downside of him choosing a smart-but-can-wear-again-after-the-wedding sort of suit) and he looked goooooooooorgeous. I did have a mini paddy about him wearing the suit he bought For The Wedding to a meeting at work, but he insisted on it. I may have had a childish moment and threatened to go to Tesco in my wedding dress.....! ?

Six weeks on Saturday for us. That's utterly terrifying.

H2b and I tried our wedding rings on last night and practiced putting them on each other's fingers as we'll do when we exchange vows. He kept making jokes like grabbing my hand, waving it around and shouting "stay still! Stop trying to escape!"... silly boy.
