6 weeks on Sunday - argh!!

So blimmin excited!! just been marzipanning my fruit cake and its dawned on me how soon it is - 33 days!!!! i am fit to burst with excitement!!!!

think i've been over doing it and making myself ill so having to chill out a bit so i don't wipe myself out just before the wedding!!!! i've actually delegated some stuff and i hate it - ha ha! if this wedding has taught me anything, its that i am a control freak!!!! ?

I know I can't believe it!!!

We still haven't got our rings.. We have to do it soon!!! ?

On our website we have a countdown thingy that measures in days, hours, minutes, seconds and millseconds. It's very cool, but I did have an almighty shock last night when I looked at it and it said 39 days. THIRTY-NINE!! Where has the time gone???

We've bought a load more sci-fi collectibles for our table themes. Very excited now! My conservatory is full of action figures - including my personal favourite of a Mr Flibble hand puppet from Red Dwarf. I had to order him specially from Australia, and he's just brilliant!

46 days to goooooooooooo, excited much...hell yes ?

RSVP's have started coming back too which is good, and my 1st hen night is in 17 days time! x

Only things left to do now are to finish sticking crystals on my shoes and then to buy some lingerie!!

I just cannot believe how quickly it is coming around (I feel like a stuck record as I say that same phrase about 20 times a day! lol)

Just been out to buy all the stuff to make my table plan - that will keep me busy this weekend!!!!

I cannot believe we are under a month now we still have lots to do, we have got the rings today and love them from smootch and saw the registrar its all so close and real but really good fun OH still trying to figure his speech out lol

Noooooo, in 3 weeks' time I will be married! Can't believe how fast the time has gone, it has really been hitting me for real in the last couple of days. I'm kind of realising that all this planning is actually for something, that there will be a real life wedding at the end of it!

Just going out with Mr Spoon now to pick up his suit but thought I would call in here for a small flap first ha ha.

I know what you mean, I cannot believe we booked our wedding two years ago and it's here! I look at new Hitchers on here booking their weddings for 2013 and I think woah that's ages away, but that was us 2 years ago!!

I feel like I should be doing something....

I'm sooooo nervous now. Just absolutely desperate to get the last few things done and make sure we're on top of everything.

Anyone else just feeling really emotional!? I mean it could be hormones but I am so close to tears the whole time!

OMG! I haven't stopped crying these last few weeks! I'm glad it's not just me! I was so excited, everyone has commented about how chilled I am and how it's lovely to see all the excitement, and now i've just turned into a complete wreck!!!! My mum is feeling the same, so I think it's quite natural, just a shame when i've been enjoying it so much until now! However, I have just bought some bits for honeymoon and am about to make another tier of the wedding cake so hopefully that will get me back on track!

I'm not even excited tbh....too much stress from OH's family! Oh but on the plus side, they're all very excited

I was in a right state last night. Money has gone bananas (and not in a good way) and we sat going over and over the spreadsheets and failing to see how we could cover all the payments left for the wedding AND the cost of moving house the week after. In the end, h2b's parents came to the rescue again and are loaning us enough to cover the shortfall, but although that solves the practical problems, I feel so guilty about it I just can't face them.

Oh gawd, plus I found out that 2 of my 3 bridesmaids haven't booked their hotel rooms and need me to put them up at my house instead! AND my dad added 4 more guests to the list a couple of days ago. AND I've eaten so much frickin' chocolate this weekend I'd bet my left leg my dress will be too tight!

I'm really starting to see how those women on Bridezillas end up as the total harpies they appear!

11 days for me i cannot believe it has go so quick we done all the big things but it is all the small things now !!!

ARRRGGGGGGGGHHHHH lol

I'm hoping at that stage it's just picking things up dresses, rings, cake etc.

It is really but my printer will not print properly and trying to do OOS and Menu cards with a printer that chews everything is getting annoying lol also the hotel keeps messing up the contract so keep having to go back and get them to change things oh and OH wheelchair broke yesterday in a manual which he cannot push and the chair company saying they may not get it fixed for three weeks (I DO NOT THINK SO )20 phone calls and 2 snotty emails and finallly getting through to the NHS regional director amazing when you mention wedding and going up to offices what they will do lol some one coming on Friday. Just means he cannot help as much as he can in electric chair.

So apart from those it is nothing really big just the small things that make the day nice but cannot believe a year and a half has gone so quick,

I'm really calm at the moment; I hope to stay this way...whether that's possible, I don't know ? Had my Hen night on Friday; I had to stand on my chair whilst Bistro Live played 'We're going to the Chapel' and my mum cried ?. It's all starting to feel very real now. Had my make up trial Friday and the lady has kindly offered to do 'Reiki' on the day if I'm a wreck.

Nothing at all left to do, suitcases are even packed ready for the honeymoon! I feel at a bit of a loose end but it feels good to be able to now relax until the big day. Glad to hear that things are coming together for us May brides...just think next month we'll be married women ?

We get married THIS SATURDAY!!!!! And I am SOOOOO FRIGHTENED! you know though, I am looking forward to it but so scared and also a bit stressed which is down to other people and not myself! :-D

^^ I know what you mean Mrs G! If it wasn't for other people (mostly my In Laws!) I would very calm but they just make everything a drama....

I have felt like this, completely over whelmed by everything, falling out (very briefly) with my dad which NEVER happens, having stroppy phone calls with my mum (which also NEVER happens), crying all the time and losing all excitement and motivation for the wedding - almost like i didn't care any more!

BUT i am very pleased to say that with just over a week left to go, the excitement has well and truely returned - thank goodness!! So i think it is quite natural to feel like that - its a huge thing we're all doing and all those months/years of planning are all about to come together!
