Hi, I'm another May 2013 bride and getting married the day after you.

You're very organised, you've put me to shame! I only have the venue and the registrar booked. We also have a photographer pretty much sorted. We're focusing on saving money at the minute, then starting to get things booked and paid off in the New Year. Don't worry, we have plently of time to get everything sorted.

Where are you getting married?

Where abouts are you getting married?

Hi Freckles, I have day & evening venue booked, TOG booked, Cars booked, registrar booked (paid a special advanced booking fee to make sure we got our date), DJ booked, Ive got my dress (bought on Ebay from China), got my shoes and have customised them with crystals myself, .got my tiara and bridesmaids hairpieces too and save the dates (only cos someone told me about the free ones bride&groomdirect were doing so thought i'd give them a go!)

Have also picked bridesmaid & flowergirl dresses, flowers, suits and music.

Think thats it so far We are getting married at The Helena Thompson Museum in Workington http://www.htmworkington.com/1432/frames.php and our evening reception is at the local Legion as it has a lovely big function room.

We are getting married on 31st May.

So far we have the venue booked, have organised a friend to be tog and have also booked a magician.

I really really want to try on dresses, but have so far resisted as I worry if i fall in love with something now I have too much time to change my mind before the wedding!

I have also attempted designing our stationery, and hope to get an artist friend to perfect them for us.

You're both very organised. I'm leaving looking for a dress until maybe spring time next year, though I do keep looking online and in wedding magazines for inspiration. Next on the agenda is getting photographer booked for definite and thinking about guest list, which I'm dreading!

We are looking for a photographer as well, its proving difficult because there don't seem to be many in our area with a good reputation. I did have one in mind but when we went to see her she was charging over £2000. Do you think that is a bit steap?

Hmmm, I would say that was quite expensive but I suppose it depends on what you get for your money and how much you're willing to pay. We're going with a friend of a friend who did a wedding that we went to. I've looked at his website and I like his work. Even at something of a "mates rate", it would still cost us £600 and that's without any albums or anything else included. And he works alone, obviously if the TOG you're looking at works with someone else on the day, it will be more expensive

We're getting married on the 4th May 2013 ?

So far we have booked the Church, reception venue, cars including an old 1960's London Red Bus for guest transport and our photographer.

I know I'm really organised so I've decided not to do anything else weddingy until 2012!

Youre so organised, just the venues done my end!

WE are looking for may 2013 at the moment but can not decide on the venue. Still looking and a castle in scotland has caught our eye.

But have got the band, DJs, TOGs, dance floor, uplighters, flortist, cake, cars and a few otehr bits sorted as we are pulling in a few favors.

Where are you getting married Cazzibear? At least you have the venue that's the main bit in my books. We are leaving it till after christmas till we do any more wedding planning just looking at bridesmaid dress on the internet at the moment

I'm based in Wigan hun, we have just received our save the dates and are in the middle of looking for a photographer (hardest thing I've found). How about you where are you? x

Hi guys. I'm getting married in April or May 2013. We've not set a specific date yet as we're going to Italy to get married and need to wait for the town hall to get back to us to set a date. We haven't booked one little thing so don't go worrying about anything, there's loads of time unless of course you have very, very specific niche requirements that limit your choices.

We know the venue we want for our ceremony, where we want to have a toast and where we're hopefully staying and having our WB. We can't book flights until about 6 months before hand anyway I think, I'm not having BMs and I'm doing my own hair and make-up and I'll pick some random flowers in a florist when I'm there the day before. Anything else as they say is just gravy. We're not planning on booking anything at all until the new year, we'll have been engaged for a year in Feb without having booked anything and with just over a year to go ?

I am also getting married 25th may 2013 9the day after my birthday) you are so more organised than I am. We have not booked anything yet. We are off to book the church this week and then nect weekend we are going to see a couple of venues.

OMG! I'm getting married on Sept 1st and ALL I have done is book and pay deposit for venue, book registra and order save the dates!

There is just SOO much to do and you are all so organised!

We're saving like mad at the moment ('No, you can't have take away there are beans in the cupbaord!'). I find it all a little overwhelming. Dont really have anyone to ask either...

Am 18th May 2013! Only got church booked so far as reception is causing a lot of issues with parents on both sides! Now decided to put it off until the New Year - too stressful with it coming up to Christmas!!!!!xxx
