Meeting with registrar

Hi all,

Just wanted to share my excitement- we are meeting with the registrar tomorrow! I think this will make everything feel the most real.

Is there anything I need to know before I go?

    Hi, it isn't anything to worry about. You just need to know basic facts about each other - full name, dob, job etc and obviously your own documents. We had our meeting last week and spent more time worrying than we spent in there!!

    Ask about what your tog will be allowed to photograph. Any restrictions? Register shots? Remote camera allowed? Can he/she be at the front during the ceremony to capture the vows, ring exchange and first kiss. If its a dark venue can they use flash or just available light.......

    Thanks to all of you that have replied,

    We met with her yesterday and she was lovely! We asked about photos and readings and she was more than happy to acommodate to what we wanted.

    Thank you for your advice, you helped us put our mind at ease!
