Love your venue, it looks so welcoming and cosy. Also like how your hairpiece echos the dandelion clocks on your invites.

If you don't mind me asking where did you get your confetti from? Is it real? We have to have real in our venue and I've bought little bags like yours to put some in but it's scary expensive!

It's real petal confetti. A mixture of flowers I dried myself (Although most of it went brown) and some bought on ebay. I added in lavender so it smells nice too.

Aw, fanks Farrah. I wouldn't say tiny though! LOL. But from a tight fitting size 18 to my dress being in a size 12! Whoop whoop! I'm chuffed with that.

They went on the confetti bags, in the invites (I got generic invites printed then stuck in peoples names on a tag using the sticker) and we're putting some money behind the bar for drinks so I will make some vouchers (So there's still a tab for the evening guests) and will stick them on those too. I got them done a SenseCreative.co.uk (£29 for 250 25mm stickers)

All so lovely especially the dress! So many similarities to mine, the evening venue looks similar, we have the vw's, a similar cake topper and I am wearing arty converse - but no other shoes! Cant wait to see your pics after the day!

Ah thanks. The honeymoon is the Maldives! When we booked it we were more excited about the honeymoon than the wedding (only for a little bit though). We had budgeted for it but a few months ago my future FIL paid for it as a wedding present. *jaw drops to the floor!*

yep Ikea frames. They were 79p each I think, perfect as we have 9 tables, but bought 10 just in case, so for £7.90 we had our table names sorted. They are postcards I've design using our holiday snaps with a few stamps and a cancel saying 'our favourite beachy holidays' printed too. My Dad designs postage stamps for a living, so they are his designs I've used, then the hurricane vases will have the shells we've collected on those holidays surrounding the candle. Each vase will also have one of those tiny bottles with a message in it. Inside it says 'make a wish' and also has a few table crystals and dandelion seeds and fluff. This then matches our 'guest book' which is also a message in a bottle.

Sprollie - you must have great taste then! Lol. The venue is Crabbs Barn in Kelvedon, Essex, its lovely. My dress actually makes me look slim and i will never want to take it off! OH has always wanted a camper, this one is called Molly. I blinged up my sneakers (fake converse btw) and have got small grey pumps for the flower girls too so am in the middle of blinging them up too.

Wow it all looks really lovely and not long now. I love your dress and hairstyle - really beautiful! Seeing the photos of the venue gets me very excited - can't wait to get married there next year!! Really looking forward to photos of it in your report!

Had a call from Wendy at the Barn yesterday and the follow up email today. Apparently extra people got into the farmhouse and had an after party till 2am. Paul and his wife and baby live in the farmhouse too and were off duty that night. They all got woken up, staff had to come back and sort things and the place was a mess. Carpets needed cleaning, things were broken, there was a random man asleep on cushions. Sounds horrible. Luckily there was no wedding the next day. I think they are seriously thinking about the future of the rooms (Or at least the farmhouse rooms) because of this. She said they will still be ok for us to use in 18 days (18 DAYS!!!) but what a horrible thing to do. All the staff there are so lovely. Makes it feel like a personal attack on us too, that they would the place like that.

Stoice I have just realised you are a fellow colchester bride, I live on Mile End Road pretty sure that is the church at the top by the school?? Also is your evening venue Crabbs Barn? We went to look there and it was a massive contender, so sad to hear how people have treated the farmhouse! OH knew the guy owner from school days and remember him saying his wife was pregnant ... the pics look just like crabbs barn too. Will keep an eye out for your wedding cars passing down my road how exciting! x

Can I ask what's the inspiration behind the table names? Are the ones in the pic actually your ones? I just spotted my old college name in there - Galway! ?

H2b's family are from Galway! Lovely place. We are lucky that 15 of his family are coming over too! (Not all of them coming though, his dad is one of eleven so there's lots even I haven't met yet in the 13 years we have been together) The table names are our favourite beachy holidays. They are all our holiday snaps, made into a postcard from each place. The table centre pieces have shells from all those holidays around each candle.

(and we both LOVE taytos - the cheese and onion are the best!)
