We get married in December but our honeymoon is not until February due to work commitments. Fiance's daughter is with her mother (who lives in London) for Christmas so we'll be collecting her the day before the wedding and dropping her back the day after.
Fiance has secretly booked an extra two days leave and today surprised me with the suggestion that we take the opportunity to stay in London for a couple of nights. He's booked first class train tickets, a gorgeous hotel, a posh restaurant, a gin-making event at The Ginstitute (gin is my favourite tipple!) and the Harry Potter tour!
We'll get back home at 10.30pm on New Year's Eve, just in time to see in the new year as husband and wife.
