Monday morning - the start of a great week...

Hi everyone

It's the start of the working week for most, but i am taking advantage of the NYR celebrations in Asia with 2 days off school! We only get 10 days holiday a year, so this is a real bonus for us.

Any how, some news. I have been trying to find some positive news, but it is so difficult. The world is just full of doom and gloom.

Found this though...

A pink baby elephant has been caught on camera in Botswana.

A wildlife cameraman took pictures of the calf when he spotted it among a herd of about 80 elephants in the Okavango Delta.

Experts believe it is probably an albino, which is an extremely rare phenomenon in African elephants.

Ahh cute animal stories this morning. Reminds me of Dyno Dog - http://www.dyno.com/news/dyno-rod-rescues-dyno-the-dog OH works for them and they've had another case last week.

I am up and just finished proof reading my essay to upload. Can't wait to see the back of it so I can start up my dissertation again.

I have also discovered pinterest this weekend and ❤️ it.

Basically it allows you to upload pictures and inspiration from other sites (and if you click the picture, it should take you back to the original source) to create mood boards. Can be for home/travel/books/weddings/anything. Then you can see what others have added to certain categories and add those pictures to your board.

Hello, hello! Tell us about your new job Aroha.

I love it - had loads of inspiration

I'm going to ahve alovely week this week as I have the weeek off - remaining annual leave, and even have next Mon/Tues off (garden leave) before I start my new job.

Today I am getting my hair cut and later in the week have a boiler service and the chimney sweep in (These are NOT euphemisms). Exciting stuff eh??

Oh and my birthday on Weds - nearly forgot that!
