Mood Boards .... help

Yorkbridetobe, 7 November, 2010 at 17:09 Posted on Planning 0 32

I have just bought an A1 sheet of pearlised ivory card from Paper Mill for £2 and am thinking of using it for my mood board. Has anyone else used one? And could i have some flashes? xx

Ooo Mrs C we were going to look at your venue - Theobalds Park? It looks lovely! Which church are you getting married at?

I've not made a mood board yet - I like the idea of a physical one, may give it a go soon!

Yes it is!!! We have booked the Ridings Barn, not the main mansion house. Its all lovely though!

They have open evenings there every few months or so with suppliers and stuff which is helpful.

    Our church is Waltham Abbey.

    When are you getting married?

Apologies If I have missed the point. The purpose of a mood board is to work and play with YOUR feelings of YOUR day. It seems odd to want to look at other peoples mood boards, until you have gone through that creative process yourself

I don't see what the problem is in looking at other peoples mood boards for inspiration on how to do you own, and to share ideas.

Mines on my work laptop, will post tomorrow!

A mood board is easy to put together just save all of your fave pics on your pc & then use something like photoshop to put them all together or print them off & paste them on to the board. What colour scheme/theme are you using I might be able to help with pics..

LOL You read 1500 + posts!

Seriously... I am being positive, really positive - I think every couple should have the wedding they want... The big question is .. do couples want their wedding, or everyone else's?

Why exactly is it odd? The whole point of this wedding forum is to get inspiration and ideas, there is nothing wrong with looking at other peoples ideas. Think of wedding magazines, wedding fairs, are you saying that we should choose every aspect of our wedding PRIOR to looking because we shouldn't get inspiration from anywhere else? Your comment is very ignorant and not very friendly to this new user and you reflect badly on the forum as a whole.

Sherrie - you always come up with loads of really nice relevant ideas

Mrs C - I want the same bra as you? The wonderbra one isn't it? Have you got it? Is it comfy?

I've got a mood board on Dessy - if I can lift it off there then I'll post later

Yes it's amazing!!!!!! Wonderbra Ultimate... although I have the lace one at the moment and it is starting to look a little tatty, may have to get the plain one too!

You can jump around and cartwheel and dance and it just doesn't move!

Ok well the link above goes to mine.... it's slightly 'bitty' because there's lots of things I'm not sure on yet and I add and delete stuff all the time x

Mrs C - sounds perfect! Nothing owrse than fiddling with your strapless bra every 2 secs. I like the look of the lace one
