yes, i did it - it turned out as a ghost story of sorts (no actual ghosts, just creepy) - based on a house we've been struggling to sell in part ? it was a bit of a rushed job and i didn't go back and refine it, but you're welcome to have a look if you're interested. i think it came from the fact i read lots of m r james as a teenager.

how did you get on with yours? am i right in thinking you entered it for a competition? it was really fantastic - i loved the ending, and i loved your style.

I would love to have a look at it - I like reading other people's stuff.

My story didn't get a look in at the competition ? but I've got a big list of places to submit it to; just waiting for the reading periods to start. I also think it needs a re-edit as it was chopped a fair bit for the comp's word limit.
