Aaah - for me it's school holidays. Along with the programme whose name has completely escaped me - a girl called Evie whose father was an alien, and she could freeze time, and the theme tune was "Would you like to swing on a star?"

I didn't watch the littlest Hobo but I just showed it to Mr Caterpillar and he was singing along - it was his favourite!

It used to make me cry when the he went off on his own to the sad tune, I couldnt bear to think about him being on his own and lonely [:'(]

What was the programme with a wooden bird, and a carpet. Was it the Pheonix and the carpet or something like that? Used to scare me for some reason ?

No, I remember bagpuss cos it was one of my favourites, with the wee mice with their wee song ? There was a wooden bird on that, but this other one was different.

Hmm, when i think about it, maybe it wasnt a wooden bird, I just remember there was fire, and a magic carpet, and a bird. I am so sure it was the Phoneix and the Carpet, will go and google.

Ok, so I was nearly right, it was meant to be real, but very wooden like.

I was obviously more intelligent as a child not to be fooled into thinking it was a real bird ?

I adored 'The Phoenix and the Carpet'. We played it on the rug in the hall for years afterwards ?
