Music for the service

Anyone?

Well I am having a harpist, she will start playing at 12.30pm and the ceremony starts at 1pm. She will then carry on for another hour or so during the photos/mingling. I am putting together a c.d of lovey dovey mushy music for the wedding breakfast to be played quietly as we eat :0)

I asked a similar question and was told that i needed 5 songs for a civil ceremony. Didnt matter how long they were. With regards to music in the back ground they said it wasnt necessary as alot of people dont bother and they just play love songs unless you really wanted certain songs playing.

I was told by my registry office that you need the min of 4

1 for coming in 2 for signing 1 for leaving.

It is up to us if we want something playing while the guest are arriving otherwise they will just play something they have on cd.

I just cannot choose the ones we want and it is starting to drive me crazy now as I am running out of time .

Thanks guys, just trying to find some upbeat songs to play rather than slower songs. You'd think songwriters would be more upbeat about love ?
