My 11 year old has a broken heart

Clairy, 17 December, 2008 at 16:28 Posted on Off Topic Posts 0 11

He's been wailing, shouting and slamming doors since he got it. He's even ignored the nice cup of tea I made him, and told me to go away.

Any ideas? I feel a bit useless.

Just leave a biscuit and a drink outside his door, he'll come to you when he's ready. He'll also be over it by 3.30pm on Friday ?

Oh bless him - is your son the one who was going to buy his girlfriend a ring with his pocket money for Christmas?

Yes. She kept the ring too, biatch ?

Holio - yes, you're right, he will be over it by Friday. And I've left him a cup of tea. Poor love.

He'd be mortified if he knew his mum was posting all about it on the t'interweb ?

Oh, poor sausage - and nasty girl, keeping the ring.

If it were me, I'd reimburse him the money back he spent on the ring (but I'm just a big softy!)

Awww bless him, hope he gets over it soon. Nasty girl, keeping the ring.

(An ex of mine once bought me a teddy monkey and asked for it back 6 months later so he could give it to his new girlfriend ? )

Poor love. However I agree he'll probably get over it soon enough, that said if it were me I'd want to go around said girls house and get the ring back, but then I'm a nasty mum!!!!!!
